Program management for a automotive aftermarket components program, including: supplier evaluations and sourcing, close interfacing with the clients product, manufacturing engineering staffs and quality personnel to develop standards for the program.
SJB provided the plan and project management for the re-sourcing. Results: 35+ injection molds, gauging & production documentation relocated to four new suppliers in less than 36 hrs with no disruptions to the client’s customers. All customer owned assets accounted for.
A key supplier (castings)was experiencing quality, delivery and operational problems. These issues resulting in restricted their ability to meet regular production schedules. SJB was able to bring to assist them meet delivery schedules and improved quality.
